Halloween Crafts and Decor
I'm starting to get my Halloween on! We decorated our front porch today with a variety of mums and pumpkins and I hung my Halloween wreath. I'm getting in the mood for my absolute favorite holiday of entire year and the best part? It's Molly's birthday too! She will turn 5 this Halloween. I can hardly believe it.So now that we are making good progress on the house I feel like I can get excited about decorating for Halloween and I think I'm going to work on some projects this week. I am yearning to do more with my sewing machine than sewing pillows (I made two more last week, lol). I found this pattern on a website called Pinksuadeshoe. I think I can manage these. We'll see.
And I started gathering pine cones to make this garland from Two Shades of Pink.
I love that it's more fall than Halloween so it's festive but I can leave it up all season. Our apartment complex has tons of pine cones and so I've been scooping them up when we take walks. I'm not sure I have the patience to glue on each individual "petal" though so I may tweak it a bit.
And I have a can of pumpkin in my cabinet. It's waiting for me. I may grab a bottle of cinnamon and some whipped cream and see where the night takes us.
Thinking about starting a link party. Would you link up? Do you have something awesome to show us? I bet you do!
Cheers!
Jenny
