Project Sneak Peak

I can not lie. I am an instant gratification girl. I don't like to wait. I don't like to bide my time. I don't like to be patient. I like to lay it all out as soon as it happens! This blog is a prime example. I can't do big reveals that make you ooh and ahh because I just can't keep it all in until it's finished. I have to show you each thing as it gets completed so you'll have to go else where for the drama and big reveals.  This is where you'll get drips, drabs, and sarcasm.

I've been working on a small china cabinet and it's not done but I'm going to show you anyway!

I will do a more extensive tutorial when it's completed.  I have to reinstall the glass into the top  doors and attach them. I also have to paint the hinge screws to match the hinges.  But it's in our dining room holding dishes and that makes me happy.

I have a few things to show you soon in our dining room, actually!  Stay tuned.

Cheers!
Jenny

  28. Ohhh! There are so many of these make-overs across the net right now, but I can honestly say that this is a "stand-out"! Your choice to use that fabric made a world of difference. If I ever finally get around to re-doing mine, I'll be stealing your fabric idea without a doubt! (thanx) :o) VERY nice!!!!

btw, i'm a newbie here, and love it already!

  38. Hi Jenny-
I recently bought a china hutch from my local thrift store and am in the process of painting it white. I’m using your china hutch as one of my inspiration pieces! I’ve included a picture and a link to your blog on Mrs. White Twig & Tea today. Thanks so much! -Angela @ http://mrswhitetwigandtea.wordpress.com

  39. I never want to wait for a full reveal either. Besides I tend to get to a certain point sometimes and call it done when a finishing touch or two should be added. I love this piece to pieces. The fabric is just amazing with it and the color is so bright and cheery without being annoying. Great choices. I'm in awe of people who can choose without wasting a ton of life and agony over the decisions. Congrats on the great job!

  41. Did you ever post a final product? I'm the same say, except with sewing projects! I posted pictures of a detailed Marie Antoinette costume I made as I finished each piece. When I finally posted a picture of my daughter wearing it, it wasn't quite the big reveal it could have been! lol!
