Fall Entry (Autumn Porch Decor)
NJ's foliage is changing and the leaves are falling. It's such a gorgeous time of year and it always makes us spend a ton of time outside. I added a few things to my front porch entry decor this weekend too. I bought a few small orange mums that eventually will be on the dining room table as a centerpiece and a couple more pumpkins. Last week we added some corn stalks and I think we're about set! I'll put out some luminaries for Halloween night too.Molly made the ghosts, pumpkins, and witch hats on the door. I know you don't see that stuff on entries on Pinterest or in BHG but honestly? What's a home without stuff like that? |
The wreath is the first wreath I ever made. We had been married less than a year and had just bought our first home. I can still remember putting it together on our kitchen table. |
The deer have been eating my mums! DRAT! I love having them around though so I'm just going to suck it up! I did sprinkle a little Pixie fur in the pots to see if that helps. We'll see. Otherwise, it's a fall Bambi buffet.
Here are a few glimpses of our past few weekends.
We had a huge old oak tree taken down a few weeks ago and Jim is slowly but surely chopping it up for firewood. In the meantime, though, Pixie is obsessed with the nooks and crannies. Not sure why but she spends a stupid amount of time running in and out of the logs, making little places to bed down and hide, sniffing, and coming out completely covered in saw dust.
So let's play a game! Can you find Pixie?
Enjoy!
Cheers!
