Happy Anniversary to Me!

So not only is it my two year blogging anniversary, it is also my 9 year wedding anniversary! Jim and I have a long history and I'm happy we'll continue to make memories in the future. If you are interested in seeing our wedding, I posted about it last year here.

In the spirit of fun here are some facts about us that you may or may not know.

1. We broke up for three years but stayed friends.

2. When we met he dressed like a lumberjack almost every day (full beard, flannel shirt, jeans, and work boots). I was a full-fledged Jersey girl rockin' the club with my girlfriends and I was not looking for a lumberjack. We were friends for a year and a half before we went out.

3. It has always been our tradition to go to the Outback Steakhouse for his birthday. He paid for it the first year since it was a date and we had only dated for about a month. Poor guy.

4. Jim was after me for years to start a blog. I resisted. Who cared what I had to say?

5. Our first date was to drive around and look at Christmas lights. He gave me a teeny porcelain bouquet of flowers as a present. It is an ornament technically but I keep it on my nightstand instead.

6. We met while working at a residence for adults with schizophrenia.

7. If we had a boy his name would have been William or Grayson.

8. We both hate making phone calls and we have actually gotten into arguments over who is calling for the Chinese or pizza.

9. We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon and it was the best vacation ever. Except Jim got sick. But still great.

10. Jim is an awesome dancer and I was always having to watch him get surrounded by girls on the dance floor.

11. We walked out to Metallica at our reception.

12. Our song is "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain.

13. He's a Capricorn and I'm a Leo. One of the worst zodiac combos but somehow we manage.
