Planting a Deer Resistant Garden
I adore our neighborhood! It is quite common to see families of deer walking through our yard or resting under our pine tree. But with the good comes the bad and I have quickly learned that deer will destroy my best gardening efforts.
Patriotic Projects: Kathe With An E, and This & That
Hello! I hope you are all well and gearing up for the holiday weekend! Molly is marching in the town's parade on Saturday morning and she is beyond excited! I love her enthusiasm for life! Anyway, here are some more ideas to inspire you this Memorial Day weekend! Remember, pin from the original blog!
Kathe With An E is one of the most positive, supportive bloggers around! Her blog is full of decorating, craft, and recipe ideas. Her two-ingredient lemon bars sound sensational! I hope you'll check it out!
Patriotic Tablescapes
This and That is a cooking blog that showcases all types of recipes, including African ones! How neat is that?! She went all American though with her parfait. The sauces are homemade and the the surprise ingredient is rhubarb!

Patriotic Projects: The Kim Six Fix and The Simple Home
You know I love a good "Pottery Barn Inspired" project and Kim at The Kim Six Fix is sharing hers for a beadboard flag wall art. Along with other DIY and craft projects, Kim shares her pretty mantels which she changes up for different holidays. So much inspiration!

Patriotic Projects: Our Family Inspired Home and The Adventures of Kitchen Girl
I hope you all had a great weekend! We spent the day gardening and buying some new hydrangeas. Hydrangeas are my absolute favorite flower and Jim is feeding my addiction. The girls had two late nights so tonight they are in bed early. NICE.
I'm continuing to showcase some of my bloggy friends and their patriotic projects! I hope you'll stop by their blogs and remember to pin from the original source. Thanks for reading!

Peanut Butter Maple Overnight Oats--Easy Breakfast
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I could easily skip dinner but I can't remember ever skipping breakfast. I just love it that much. However, I don't love mornings and so that is where overnight oats come in as my quick and easy breakfast of choice lately.
Patriotic Decor: Glued To My Crafts
I love the idea of simple, quick crafts and Stacey from Glued To My Crafts is sharing hers for pretty patriotic decor: Chalky Finish Patriotic Vase. You all know I love double-duty holiday decor and this vase can easily stay out and be used year round with different colors of flowers, don't you think?
Stacey also shared some adorable patriotic free printables today on her blog. I hop!e you'll visit her and check them out along with her other projects, kids crafts, tutorials, etc! Remember, please pin from Glued To My Crafts!
Memorial Day is not far off and I'll be sharing more great patriotic ideas so check back daily!
Cheers!

Patriotic Dessert--Apple Pie: Yesterfood!
Did you know that people in other countries have USA themed parties? It's true. They dress in jeans and baseball caps, drink out of red Solo cups, and serve apple pie! The whole red Solo cup is less of a USA thing and more of a college frat party thing but baseball and apple pie are, without a doubt, American.
As part of the patriotic showcase of bloggers, Joy at Yesterfood, is sharing her recipe for homemade apple pie. Lucky for us, she also includes the recipe for her favorite pie crust too!

Joy's blog is filled with amazing recipes and mouth-watering photos. I hope you'll visit her! Check out her carrot cake, by the way. It sounds delicious! And remember, please pin from the original source!
Cheers!

Spring is the spruce up month, don't you think? It is hard to resist cleaning and shining things up when spring comes and we are working on our backyard a bit.
