Giving Thanks With BIC Mark-It™
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BIC®. All opinions are 100% mine.
I am sure you are preparing for a beautiful Thanksgiving filled with family and food. I know we are! And in the spirit of giving thanks, I decided it was time to start a new tradition in our family. I got the idea from the BIC Mark-It™ Month of Merry Marking idea booklet. #BICMerryMarking
BIC is encouraging your creativity with a month of merry marking crafts and gift ideas! BIC Mark-It™ Markers come in a gorgeous array of colors, including metallics: 44 colors to add color to any of the crafts in the BIC Mark-It™ Month of Merry Marking booklet! The bold, fade-resistant ink is low odor and acid free (no added acid, no measurable pH) so you don’t need to worry!
I chose the Harvest Orange idea of writing down all the things we are thankful for and we plan on sharing them during our Thanksgiving dinner!
#HarvestOrange is the perfect color to use for a Thanksgiving craft. The rich orange is the perfect color to signify autumn!
The first thing I did was to create a simple graphic to print out and use for our thoughts.
After cutting them out, I thought about some of the many blessings for which I am so grateful. I used my BIC Mark-It™ Harvest Orange marker to write them down. Then I encouraged Molly and Ellie to do the same.
We folded them up and put them in a basket until tomorrow when we will sit down for dinner and share them with each other.
I have more little slips that we'll be adding to the basket and I made sure to leave a little pile out for Molly, Ellie, and Jim to continue adding to our basket of blessings!
You can participate in the BIC Mark-It™ Month of Merry Marking by downloading the booklet and a money-saving coupon. Then you can start creating your own traditions and gifts!
I nominate my two sisters to participate in the BIC Month of Merry Marking. And along with them, I nominate my friend, Natasha, who has just started to find her inner artist! I can't wait to see their colorful creations!
Which color and craft idea do you like best?
Cheers!
Jenny
